Megan Morse - Dick's Cafe

Megan, born Morgan, had a difficult time growing up transgendered, finding escape and comfort in television (especially the underappreciated ’80s gem Hello, Megan!). Moving in with her accepting uncle as a teenager and finding a place for herself on the stage — crafting a bubbly, funny drag persona that let her explore her gender identity — helped her to find peace with herself, but she still struggles with insecurity in her identity. She’s especially unsure as she edges towards a relationship with the super cute, super straight new bouncer.

(Megan has been dying for someone to get the pop culture references in her show, but, sadly, most people seem to think she made this all up herself. Until the original Megan, actress Marie Logan, happened on the show with a bit of help from her young son…but that’s a story for a different post.)
